- Create Client ID & Client secret from the API section ‘Google API Console‘.
- Authorize redirecting url as
- Authorizing the Plugin by using Client ID and Client Secret.
- Now configure the frequency at which the the plugin takes backups.

Login to your Google Account & navigate to Google APIs Console .
Click on “API Access” tab and click on “Create an OAuth 2.0 client ID”
Give a product name & specify URL of the Logo you want to use,Once done click on “Next” button.
In the Next screen choose ‘Web Application’& enter your website name.
Once you enter the URL of you website, click on More options link & fill in the details as like below replacing it with your website name.

Now it’s time for you to copy the Client ID & Client Secret.Now Navigate to “Configure Google” in your WordPress Admin Dashboard

Now you will be redirected to Google Site where you need to give permissions “Allow Access”.
If everything is successful you will see a screen like this & it also provides an option to Revoke permissions to Google Drive.

Now you need to enter Backup Folder Name,Set an email ID for notifications,Set the frequency at which you want to Backup your WordPress Blog (Daily,weekly,Monthly) & save button to complete the Automatic Backup to Google Drive Configuration.
Moving to next tab “Manage Database” you have the option if you want to exclude some tables from backup to Google Drive.
