Now Bosses has to think seriously about Blocking Google in Offices as Google’s keyboard onslaught continues for the 3’rd Straight day.Today Google has come up with slalom canoe as its 14th daily doodle for the ongoing London 2012 Olympic Games.This interactive doodles allows users to play Slalom Canoe from the search engine home Page using the arrow keys.

Slalom Canoe Google Doodle is the third interactive Google doodle after Hurdles Doodle and Basketball Doodle in the ongoing Olympics season.

The playable Slalom Canoe Google doodle features a paddler with an yellow-coloured canoe which allows you paddle a canoe down the water course with 10 downstream gates, marked with green striped poles, sedimentary rocks & a crocodile.

What is Slalom Canoe :

Whitewater slalom (canoe slalom since November 2008) is a competitive sport where the aim is to navigate a decked canoe or kayak through a course of hanging gates on river rapids in the fastest time possible.Slalom canoeing made its Olympic debut in 1972 in Augsburg, W. Germany. It was not seen again until 1992 in Seu d’Urgell as part of the Barcelona games. Since then, slalom paddling has been a regular at the Olympics.

There are currently four soon to be five Olympic Medal events:

  • C-1 (canoe single) Men
  • C-2 (canoe double) Men (may not be a mixed crew)
  • K-1 (kayak single) Men
  • K-1 (kayak single) Women
  • C-1 (canoe single) Women will be an event in the 2016 Olympics
